Very few things bring fans, collectors and other walks of life together quite like a Convention. It’s here where it’s not only acceptable to geek out, it’s encouraged.
It’s where you can embrace your inner superhero, while also stumbling upon that one elusive item missing from your collection – the ultimate collectible that now sits right in front of you at a convention booth.
What if we could help blur the line between the physical cons and the digital experience?
Introducing the hobbyDB / Pop Price Guide Bricks & Clicks Partnership
We’re working with event leaders across the entire industry to promote in-person events to Pop Price Guide users that are located in their particular area. We’ve laid the groundwork so that our community members can not only add their locations, but they can also add their specific interests.
So for example, if you love pins and are located in New York, we’ll let you know if there is a pin swapmeet close to your area. Or, if you love Batman and live in Cologne, Germany, then we’ll let you know when there is a Comic-Con nearby!
In turn, event organizers promote PPG through their channels. And their sellers will have the ability to list items for sale for local pick up during the event so collectors don’t have to stress about being first in line for their favorite items.
We’re excited to announce our first three event leaders who will be partnering with the hobbyDB family of brands!
Brooklin Collector Day – Organized by the North American Brooklin Collectors Club and introducing new Brooklin Models at the amazing NB Center (read about this year’s event here).
Dana Cain Events – Known as one of the top Collector Conventions in the West, the Dana Cain Toy and Doll Supershow is celebrating its 30th anniversary on April 3rd 2022. As this is local and just an amazing event you’ll find us there again! To learn more, visit Dana’s site here.
Motorama Productions – Put on by incredible event producer Andy Goodman, join us for one of the most popular car events in the East, Dragfest, set to take place on January 8 & 9th, 2021. To learn more, visit Andy’s website here.
If you host events (no matter what the size, big or small, from cons to club meetings) and are looking to get more exposure, we’d love to partner with you. Just send us an email or let us know in the comments below.
