In the coming weeks, Pop Price Guide will undergo a major overhaul to the engines that power the most comprehensive online guide dedicated to all things Funko.
And we couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to deliver the PPG experience that you deserve and we’ve always envisioned.
So what does this mean for you, the loyal PPGers?
Expect to see the same Pop Price Guide that you love and rely on for up-to-date values and collection management. We’re just opening up the hood and taking our 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am and turning it into Knight Rider’s K.I.T.T.
And while the revamped PPG won’t be able to talk to you like K.I.T.T., it will have some great new and fun technology.
New Features on PPG, Powered by hobbyDB
Dive into the Details – Subvarianting the Variants
Let’s be honest. Between the flocked, chrome and glow-in-the-dark items, keeping track of them all can be daunting. Our new variant and subvarianting features allow you to peruse all versions of an item in one convenient location.
We’ll use Pop! Batman for our example, as demonstrated on hobbyDB, the engine that runs Pop Price Guide.
There are 13 versions (or variants) of that particular Batman. Now they can be found categorized in one easily viewable page. From there, they can be filtered down even further into subvariants such as convention and shared exclusive items.

Wish List integration
Ever scour the Pop Price Guide Marketplace only to discover that you just missed out on a coveted item? Our new Wish List system has you covered, letting you know when an item on your list has been posted for sale on the PPG Marketplace via email and onsite notifications.
Charts!
Who doesn’t love a good chart? Our new price charts track the history of an item’s value and does so in a spiffy new fashion. In the last three years, we’ve added more than 10,000 items and 1.2 million price points ensuring the most accurate and up-to-date data.

Selling made easier
Not only will the site operate faster and more efficiently, the new upgrade will also make selling items via the PPG Marketplace even easier. It’s as simple as clicking a button.

Funko…and beyond
If all you collect is Funko, then Pop Price Guide is the perfect place for you. For those of you whose collections travel outside of Funko’s realm, you might want to visit hobbyDB, where you’ll find one billion collectibles…eventually. You can use the same account for both PPG and hobbyDB. In addition, if you add items to your collection on hobbyDB, such as a KidRobot Dunny, Comic Book or Film Poster, for example, you’ll be able to view it in your PPG collection.
Smile for the camera

You’re going to want your collection to look good so you can truly show it off. You’ll be able to customize your profile with personalized avatar and banner images. And have no fear, you’ll still have our famous Top-Ten lists.
Want to see more?
If images are your thing, we’ll be offering more photos of your items, including artistic and fun images.
Search filters
Want to narrow your search results? Our improved search filters allow you to dive further into your fandom to find items that are in and not in your collection, wish list or for sale. Coming in the future will also be improved search performance on the site and lots of mobile improvements.
And Coming Soon
Customizable lists
We love our Star Wars and we adore our Marvel. But sometimes, we’d like to be able to separate the two. With our new customizable lists feature, you’ll be able to create comprehensive and shareable lists tailored specifically for your collection.
Social media collecting
Want to see updates from the collections of your friends and fellow PPGers? We’ll be adding the ability to follow other PPG members and get updates from their collections.
Some exciting upgrades are coming as we look to galvanize the world of collectibles alongside you, our loyal PPGers. We hope you’re just as excited about the upgrades coming to Pop Price Guide as we are.
It’s been more than 18 months since we offered you any new features, but that is about to change thanks to the turbo-charged engine we’re about to drop in. We’d love to hear your ideas!
As always, please let us know if you are having any difficulties or issues by reaching out to team@poppriceguide.com.
Exciting! Will we be able to sort by value?
Have to say I love the changes it reminds me of the good old stashpedia days when we had charts and could follow friends with the way PPG has always been with accurate values I can’t wait to see the changes in action
have a trade list
While I am happy about most of the planned improvements, please do not break the pages down to subvariant tabs like Hobby db. It is much easier to look up the items in an alphabetical list. I stopped going to Hobby db because it difficult to find items with all the variants tabs.
You should add the ability to pull data from your list to Excel like most sites allow. This one seems to block you from doing so. You also removed the export function so that should be added back as well.
Let us see and filter by “Purchase Price “. I want to see the comparison between that price and PPG value.
