Funko Toy Fair New York Reveals: Pop! Sports

Start spreading the news. Funko takes us into the dugouts and ringside with the company’s latest foray into the wide world of Pop! Sports, courtesy of a slew of 2019 Toy Fair New York reveals.

Muhammad Ali and Babe Ruth make their Pop! Sports Legends debut, the former standing triumphantly over Sonny Liston, while the latter calls his shot against the Chicago Cubs in Game 3 of the 1932 World Series.

The legends continue onto the racetrack with the debut of Pop! NASCAR. The eight-figure set features the likes of Dale Earnhardt and his son Dale Jr.,  as well as Richard Petty, Jeff Gordon and Kevin Harvick. Kyle Busch, along with Bill and Chase Elliott, round out the set.

    The baseball mascots is a bad idea, and I love baseball. If Funko wants to do mascots, they should have done the famous ones from all sports, including college. My favorite would be Bailey from the LA Kings, since I’m a Kings fan, but the San Diego Chicken would be dope.

      Those would be great. I’ve always wondered where the NCAA mascots are? Those would be a slam dunk.
