Funko returns us to the glory days of toys — the 80s — with the release of its DC Primal Age collection.
The debut line features Batman and his cohorts taking on action figure form with strong influences to the toys we played with in the 1980s.
Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the Green Lantern team up with the Caped Crusader to take on the likes of Scarecrow, King Shark and Mr. Freeze, as well as, naturally, The Joker.
The latest version of Batman eschews the Batmobile and Batwing to cruise on the back of Ace the Bathound — presumably to chase down The Joker Beast — while defending The Bat Cave.
The DC Primal Age collection is available in November and can be found exclusively via Amazon.
I’m a HUGE Batman collector and I gotta say HARD PASS on these eyesores.
These new MotU toys are a nice…..wait….DC Primal? Oh I thought I was looking at an 80s He-Man lineup….never mind sticking with He-Man over these basically MotU ‘knockoffs’…sticks to what you are good at Funko because you are the Kings of Pop Culture!
Agree with Jmark. Save the money on lines like this and spend it on licensing for new Pops cause man, the last 2 Comic con Line-ups have been weak!!
