I have a pretty big announcement that I am really excited to share with all of you.
As some of you may know, about a year ago we started working with our fellow collectors Alex, Andrew, Christian and Dayne at hobbyDB behind the scenes – we helped with data projects and hobbyDB provided technical and development support we wouldn’t have been able to provide without them.
Through working together, both teams have grown to appreciate the work the other is doing and realized a shared vision and goal for collecting as a whole. Due to the growing involvement, integration and interaction of our two sites, we know that we can better serve the entire collecting community as one and have officially decided to combine forces.
The goal of this is to provide a better experience for you and allow us to improve collection valuation, management and selling across the globe.
This change won’t affect users and the majority of PPG will operate in the exact same way as before with the entire admin and volunteer teams remaining the same. Where you can expect to start seeing improvements is in the collection management features, sorting features, and the marketplace.
For a breakdown of what hobbyDB is all about, check out their About Us page.
We know there will be some feedback on this and we would love to hear it all. Feel free to comment here or email at [email protected]!
Cheers and Happy Collecting,
John and the Geeks at Pop Price Guide and Dayne at hobbyDB
