A Trio of Toys R Us Pop Exclusives Coming Soon

When it was announced that Toys R Us was filing for bankruptcy, one thought on many a Funko collector’s mind was, “Will there still be TRU exclusives?” That question has been answered with the announcement of three new exclusives ready to hit stores soon. WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura, Disney princess Snow White, and the Toys R Us icon Geoffrey the Giraffe round out the trio. One Geoffrey will include a Golden Ticket – The person who is lucky enough to find the Golden Ticket wins a trip for 2 to Funko HQ!

I got my Shinshe Nakamura Pops yesterday…one for me and one for sale/trade down the road (or to give my 13-year old son…our collections are about 80% WWE and 20% Disney). I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a TRU exclusive sticker on the box. We’ve purchased other exclusives (Brock Lesnar Walmart, Bella Twins WWE Events, Daniel Bryan, Hot Topic, even New Day TRU) and they always had stickers. I wonder if this was an oversight. I am kind of new to the “game” and only really collect for myself and my son…I didn’t know if exclusives had stickers, that has been my experience. Thanks!

Oh! I just looked at the picture…there is an exclude sticker on the box. Mine didn’t have them, and from the pics I’ve seen on FB, nobody seems to have gotten the sticker. Interesting.

None came with the stickers from what I’ve seen. So don’t worry about it.
