We are back online! (Mostly)

It’s been a long 18-hour day to get this accomplished, but I can finally say that PPG is back online, at least for the most part. Files and databases have been transferred to the new host, and we’re now on a faster server with more memory to help ensure we don’t get those obnoxious database connection errors. You should be able to use the guide and its features in full, and registrations, logins, messages (under the new profile system) and more should all be in place. The forums are not yet live, and you’ll probably run across a few broken image links during your browsing, but those will all be addressed as soon as possible. One thing I’ve noticed is that profile pics and cover photos for the new profile system don’t appear to be linking up correctly, so for the sake of being safe it wouldn’t hurt to visit your profile and make sure the pics are there. Any questions or concerns, please leave them in the comments! You’re also welcome to link to any pages with broken image links. Thanks everyone for your patience as we worked through these problems.

Hey great to hear that. I hope for the PPG Admin you all have a more stable server now. You all work hard and thanks for all that you do even if i get cranky at times when things go down. Thanks again.

From the post: “The forums are not yet live, and you’ll probably run across a few broken image links during your browsing, but those will all be addressed as soon as possible.”
